Sunrise Agra Fuels is now producing biomass fuels. We have acquired a production facility in Bagley, Minnesota. Fuel can be purchased at our Bagley, MN production site or at our dealer locations listed below.

Biomass Pellet fuel is a renewable, clean-burning, and cost-stable home heating alternative currently used throughout North America. It is a biomass product made of renewable substances – generally recycled wood waste or agricultural residue. There are currently more than 900,000 homes in North American using pellets for heat in freestanding stoves, corn stoves, fireplace inserts and even biomass furnaces. Pellet fuel for heating can also be found in such large-scale environments as schools, government buildings, and prisons. North American pellets are produced in manufacturing facilities in Canada and the United States, and are available for purchase right here at Sunrise Agra Fuels in clean, easy to handle 40 lb. bags, by the ton, in 2000 lb. tote bags, and bulk.
One bag of pellet fuel equals 2.3 gallons of oil, 3.5 gallons of LP gas, or one ton equals 1 1/2 cords of wood.

Sunrise Agra Fuel's Island Pellets contain a higher energy concentration per pound than shell corn. They ignite easily and do not form "clinkers". There is minimal feed value for rodents to feed on (they would probably starve eating pellets) and the rodents are not attracted to the pellets. There are no "bees wings" so our pellets are not messy. The Island Fuel Pellets contain about 15% more heat per pound than shell corn. Our pellets are low moisture which maxamizes energy output. This means you carry LESS fuel and get MORE heat.
